Memory



Memory is a device that stores all the work you do on your computer. The memory on the computer saves every piece of work. The computer comes with so much memory but that can run out but when it does it is so easy to buy more.

ROM

ROM  is were you store your own work the you completed. Even after you turn off your computer, the contents of ROM will remain.

RAM

RAM  is were the computer stores the information the computer needs such as the instructions how to work the computer etc.

CD Rom

It is an optical disk that has the capacity to store data, music files, video files etc.

A DVD

is an optical disc storage media format that can be used for data storage, including movies.

Flash drives and memory sticks.

A flash drive is a small storage device that can be used to transport files from one computer to another.

 Memory sticks are handy devices that can be used to copy and store data from computer hard drives.

Hard disk drive

The hard disk drive is the main, and usually largest, data storage device in a computer. The operating system, software titles and most other files are stored in the hard disk drive.
